⭐ Golden Star Ferries, once again in partnership with The Smile of the Child (voluntary, non-profit child welfare organization) and the Municipality of Tinos, help island people, and especially our young friends from Tinos.
The children of these island communities represent the very future and life of Cyclades next years.
We are proud and happy to offer free transportation for a special preventive healthcare vehicle for children and students from The Smile of the Child and its mission.
The Smile of the Child on the island of Tinos
The five members of medical and support staff who participated in the entire mission and their special healthcare vehicle departed on Sunday, March 19, from the port of Rafina to Tinos on Superferry vessel.
When the mission of The Smile of the Child has been completed the staff who participated with the special vehicle, boarded Superferry again on Saturday, April 4, for their return from Tinos to Athens.
🩺 At this point, we would like to emphasize the importance of preventive medicine, which contributes to the early diagnosis and prevention of diseases, as well as to the overall promotion of health.
